![]() ![]() If you're looking to start jiu-jitsu in Boise, you're not going to find a better place. ![]() I absolutely recommend stopping by Egley Train Boise if you're ever in the area. He walked around to correct students, but specifically helped students adapt the technique to their size and body stature. His instruction is so clear and detailed. Now to the class and people - everyone here was super friendly! I get nervous meeting new people, but everyone made an effort to introduce themselves and welcome me. Then you head to the back where there are large dressing rooms, separate bathrooms, and an infrared sauna! To the left is a spacious communal area with a workspace that is inviting for visitors to watch classes in session or for students to open up a laptop and work remote while waiting for class to start. To the right is the large, white mat space soaking in just the right amount of sunlight, which exemplifies the cleanliness of this facility. When you first walk in, you're greeted by friendly staff (including head instructor Mike Egley's adorable baby son). The facility is located in a very open plaza with plenty of parking and nearby shops and restaurants. A few weeks ago, I stopped in to Egley Train Boise Jiu Jitsu while I was in town for a competition and can I just say "Wow!" I've been to dozens of gyms, and this facility is definitely one of the best ones I've been to. ![]()
